Roderick Usher invites his childhood friend to his family home, the House of Usher. A bleak mansion of gloom standing lonely at the top of the hill. A history of family illness, a ‘mysterious’ lake and the loss of his twin sister all play a part in the desolation of Roderick. Will Roderick’s friend help him accept his family’s fate?
